Creative Association “Circle”

The charitable foundation “Creative Association “Krug” (CF “TOK”) was established in 2014. TOK was born in an effort to create a platform where people with disabilities and without being employees could do a common thing. Thus, a ceramic workshop was formed, where blind, deaf, deaf people work, as well as people with various types of mental and intellectual disabilities, including those living in neuropsychiatric boarding schools. The workshop’s products are successfully sold at charity fairs and as part of corporate orders. But the main achievement can be considered a family informal atmosphere that prevails in the workshop.

Since 2015, the foundation has been renting an apartment, which, today, uses a unique model of assisted living for people with mild forms of intellectual disabilities, together with blind people with disabilities. Such a symbiosis brings mutual benefits: for the blind – a resource of support, for a person who has grown up or lived in an institution for a long time – socialization and self-realization in the performance of the function of an assistant. Thus, TOK can be considered among the pioneers of assisted living for people with disabilities in Russia. It was this project that Vinchel Foundation decided to support.
